Sun TV Q4: Sun TV Network reported a 10.4% year-on-year (YoY) decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹371.6 crore in the March FY25 quarter. In the corresponding period last year, the company had clocked a profit of ₹414.7 crore.

In the quarter under review, the media company’s revenue from operations stood at ₹940.6 crore, slumping 2.2% YoY from ₹961.3 crore in the fourth quarter of FY24.

However, the Chennai-based company’s total income surged 7.44% YoY to ₹1,135.86 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2025, compared to ₹1,057.24 crore in the same period last year.

Sun TV stock performance

Shares of Sun TV closed 1.89% lower at ₹629.65 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday. The stock slipped 2.3% to an intra-day low of ₹627 apiece during the day. However, the results were announced after the market closed.

The share price lost 0.59% over the week but gained 1.41% since the beginning of May. The share slipped 7.86% on a year-to-date basis.

The Sun TV stock hit a 52-week low of ₹549.30 apiece on March 5, 2025, and ₹921 on August 9, 2024.
