Here is a list of stocks that may remain in focus today.
Payment and financial stocks: Paytm, YES Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and SBI are likely to be in focus after the government introduced a 0.4% Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) on UPI merchant transactions above ₹2,000 from October 15.
Merchants, not customers, will pay the fee, while person-to-person payments and UPI transactions of ₹2,000 or below will remain free. The move could create a new revenue stream for banks and payment companies in the UPI ecosystem, although the MDR will be shared among participants.
R R Kabel: The company said it has successfully commenced commercial production at its newly established manufacturing unit (Unit 3) for Wires and Cables located in Silvassa, UT of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, with effect from September 15, 2026.

This new unit is located close to the company’s existing units in Silvassa.

The new facility has a total planned capacity of 18,000 MT per annum. Commercial production has commenced with the current operational capacity of 12,000 MT per annum, and the total capacity of 18,000 MT per annum is expected to be ready by December 2026.

YES Bank: The company informed exchanges that Binu Soman, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO), had tendered his resignation from the services of the bank on account of better career growth on June 17, 2026. "The bank has relieved Mr. Binu Soman from his duties effective from the close of business hours on September 15, 2026," it said.
NBCC India: Shares of the government-owned NBCC (India) are expected to be in the spotlight on Wednesday, September 16, as the company bagged multiple orders aggregating to approximately ₹144.98 crore, excluding GST.
According to a regulatory filing dated September 15, the firm won multiple orders from North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd (NEEPCO), Steel Authority of India Ltd., Bokaro Steel Plant, Enforcement Directorate, Bhubaneswar Zonal Office and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC). READ MORE
BHEL, Titagarh Rail Systems: The companies have inked an agreement to set up a joint venture for comprehensive maintenance of Vande Bharat sleeper train sets for 35 years.

In a regulatory filing, BHEL said that the state-owned firm and Titagarh Rail will hold an equal 50% stake each in the proposed joint venture company (JVC), which is yet to be incorporated. The JVC will be incorporated as a private limited company with an initial paid-up share capital of ₹50 lakh, and its registered office will be in Delhi.

Under the agreement, BHEL and Titagarh Rail will each nominate two directors to the board of the JVC.

Bharat Forge: An Indian firm and an American defence major on Tuesday announced that they will work together to support the development of India's high-altitude, long-endurance (HALE) unmanned aerial vehicle.

In a statement, Bharat Forge and Pratt & Whitney Canada said they will evaluate the integration of advanced turboprop engines into a HALE unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), being designed and developed under a programme by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).

Pratt & Whitney is a business of US-based RTX.

The collaboration supports India’s indigenous unmanned aerial systems efforts under the government’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.

HALE UAVs provide long-endurance surveillance, intelligence, and reconnaissance across land and maritime domains.

Saatvik Green Energy: Saatvik Green Energy on Tuesday said it has secured a ₹1,041.63 crore order from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for the supply of solar PV modules.

The order will be executed by December 2027, the company stated in an exchange filing.

"Saatvik Green Energy has been awarded and has accepted an order from SECI for the supply of solar PV modules, with an aggregate order value of ₹1,041.63 crore," it said.

Blue Star: Air-conditioning and refrigeration systems maker Blue Star Ltd on Tuesday said its Oman-based joint venture partner W J Towell & Co LLC (WJT) has approached the Dubai Court of Appeal seeking annulment of an arbitration award that dismissed all claims against Blue Star.

An arbitration tribunal, in July this year, rejected claims worth ₹223.6 crore made by WJT, with which Blue Star had entered into a shareholders' agreement in October 2015 for managing the affairs of Blue Star Oman Electro Mechanical Company.

"WJT, as part of the legal remedies available to it, has approached the Dubai Court of Appeal seeking annulment of the award. Annulment proceedings do not constitute an appeal or reconsideration of the merits of the award and are confined to limited grounds," Blue Star said in a stock exchange filing.

Asserting that the grounds of annulment raised by WJT are "baseless", the company said it would make appropriate submissions before the Dubai Court of Appeal.

Aurobindo Pharma: Shares are likely to be in focus after its wholly owned subsidiary Apitoria Pharma’s Unit-II API manufacturing facility in Telangana completed a US FDA inspection.

The inspection, conducted from September 7 to September 15, concluded with one procedural observation, according to the company.

Aurobindo Pharma said it will respond to the US FDA within the stipulated timeline and remains committed to maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Vikram Solar: The company has entered into a domestic cell supply agreement with Avaada Electro, reinforcing its foothold in India’s fast-expanding Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) segment and strengthening long-term supply-chain resilience.

Under the agreement, Avaada Electro will supply 1 GW of ALMM-compliant domestically manufactured half-cut N-Type G12R TOPCon solar cells for Vikram Solar’s module manufacturing operations.

Deliveries are scheduled to commence in September 2026, ensuring consistency in supply and operational continuity to meet the country's growing DCR requirements.

GMR Airports Infrastructure: The stock is likely to be in focus after the company reported 9.4 million passengers across its portfolio airports in August 2026, up 0.9% year-on-year. Delhi Airport traffic rose 2.7% to 6.1 million passengers, while Hyderabad Airport traffic declined 11.5% to 2.2 million.

On a YTD FY27 basis, total passenger traffic crossed 49 million, up 0.4% YoY, with Delhi traffic growing 5.5%. The company also highlighted the commencement of commercial operations at Bhogapuram Airport from August 17.
