According to a regulatory filing dated September 15, the firm won multiple orders from North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd (NEEPCO), Steel Authority of India Ltd., Bokaro Steel Plant, Enforcement Directorate, Bhubaneswar Zonal Office and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC).
The Navratna PSU secured a project management consultancy (PMC) services order worth ₹11.21 crore from NEEPCO, from concept to commissioning, towards development of a township project on the plot of 21.66 acres of land acquired by NEEPCO at Umsawli, Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, Meghalaya.
It received four orders from Steel Authority of India Ltd., Bokaro Steel Plant, including two orders worth ₹23.48 crore each for the “construction of 250 x 30 Sqm of shed with EOT crane (25 Tons- Revised) facility in General Stores Area of MM-stores Department, shed 1 and shed 2, at Bokaro Steel Plant, Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand.
It bagged another order worth ₹55.91 crore for comprehensive external repair and painting of 654 no’s of Building Blocks in Sectors 2,3,8,9 and 11 at BSL Township, Bokaro, Jharkhand.
Furthermore, NBCC received an order worth ₹9.05 crore for the comprehensive upgradation/ repair and maintenance of 500 residential quarters in Bokaro Steel City Township, Jharkhand.
It bagged an order worth ₹5.58 crore from the Enforcement Directorate, Bhubaneswar Zonal Office for the interior renovation and furnishing works at the new office premises of the Directorate of Enforcement, Bhubaneswar Zonal Office.

In a regulatory filing dated August 28, NBCC said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NHPC for the execution of the latter's infrastructure projects, primarily comprising buildings, structures and allied works, on a pan-India basis.
Under the MoU, NBCC will provide Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services and undertake specific NHPC infrastructure projects on a deposit work basis.
The scope includes design, engineering, project management, procurement, construction, quality control, installation, commissioning, and statutory compliances, along with handing over of completed projects.
In a separate regulatory filing dated August 27, the company said it bagged multiple work orders aggregating to ₹134.27 crore.
It received construction orders from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT: Odisha, Bhubaneswar, and from Canara Bank.
NBCC (India) clocked a consolidated net profit of ₹154.83 crore in the June quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27), reflecting a 17.2% year-on-year (YoY) jump from ₹132.13 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal year.
Its revenue from operations declined 5.56% YoY to ₹2,259.53 crore during the quarter under review, as against ₹2,392.49 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).
Shares of NBCC closed 2.67% lower at ₹80.69 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday, September 15. However, the announcement was made after the markets closed.
The scrip has lost 6% in the past week and 9% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has declined 34%.
While the stock hit a 52-week high of ₹125.85 per equity share on December 29, 2025, it touched a year’s low of ₹77.18 apiece on March 30, 2026.
