SPML Infra share price: Shares of water infrastructure development company SPML Infra rose on Monday, September 8, after it secured a ₹1,438 crore (inclusive of GST) order in a joint venture with JWIL Infra Ltd (SPML leading with 51%) from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Bharatpur, Rajasthan.

The project, which is under the Jal Jeevan Mission, will strengthen water supply infrastructure across the region, an exchange filing said. The order also involves executing comprehensive construction and operation works, including ten years of operations and maintenance (O&M).

The stock was trading 0.12% higher at ₹292.75 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at 9:29 a.m. on Monday.

The project will ensure safe and reliable drinking water for over 1.5 million residents of the Dholpur and Saipau blocks. The order covers the construction of an intake well, raw water reservoirs of 10 and 12 million cubic metres on the Chambal River, laying 712 kilometres of 100 mm to 2000 mm diameter pipelines, 21 elevated service reservoirs and setting up main raw water pumping stations.

This order reflects the government’s confidence in SPML Infra’s ability to deliver critical water infrastructure with lasting impact. With its comprehensive scope and long-term O&M responsibility, this project goes beyond construction; it is about ensuring reliability, resilience, and healthier lives for the people we serve."

In August, the company had bagged a ₹1,073 crore project by Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) for augmentation of the water supply system under the AMRUT 2.0 initiative.

SPML Infra Q1 results

SPML Infra had posted a 6.26% decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹12.11 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26, compared to ₹12.92 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Revenue from operations declined 24.59% to ₹155.91 crore in Q1 FY26, compared to ₹206.76 crore a year back.
