Here are buzzing stocks in Thursday's session:
Jupiter Wagons: Shares of the Kolkata-based railway freight wagons and passenger coaches maker rose as much as 12.77% to hit an intraday high of ₹372 on the BSE after it said that its material unlisted subsidiary, Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory, has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) dated August 19, 2025, for the supply of a total of 5,376 wheelsets for the Vande Bharat Train for an order value of approximately ₹215 crore.

The order is for the design and development of CMS-based Bilingual Websites for Colleges for the Higher Education Department.
New India Assurance, SBI Life, other insurance shares: Shares of insurance companies gained on Thursday after government proposed exempting life and health insurance policies for individuals from GST.

Currently, health and life insurance premiums attract 18% GST. The 13-member state Group of Ministers on insurance held a meeting on Wednesday.

Almost all states were in favour of the proposal, but they asked the GST Council to devise a mechanism by which the GST rate cut benefits are passed on to the customer, said Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, a member of the GoM.

About ₹9,700 crore in annual revenue loss is estimated on account of GST exemption for individual insurance policies, he said.

Clean Science Tech: Shares of Clean Science Technology caught investors' eyes in the opening deals on Thursday, August 21, as something unusual happened.
The stock, which was slated to see a block deal in the pre-open session, witnessed an extraordinary volume due to a fat-finger error.

After the sharp fall, the stock turned positive, too, for a brief period.

Ola Electric: Shares of electric two-wheeler maker fell as much as 8.73% to hit an intraday low of ₹48.66 as investors got jittery after VAHAN data showed Ola Electric had recorded 9,522 registrations as compared to 10,248 for Arther Energy as of August 20.

Godrej Properties (GPL) participated in an e-auction conducted by the Telangana Housing Board (TGHB) for a Residential Group Housing Project, where GPL emerged as the highest bidder for a 7.825-acre land parcel in Kukatpally (KPHB), Hyderabad, with a total combined bid value of ₹547.75 crore.
