SBI Cards launches Titan SBI Card, to offer benefits worth up to ₹2 lakh per annum

Shares of SBI Cards and Payments Services Limited closed higher on Thursday after the company announced the launch of a co-branded card in partnership with Titan Company Limited.
In an exchange filing, SBI Cards said that the company, in partnership with Titan Company Limited, has launched Titan SBI Card. This retail credit card will cater exclusively to the domestic market in India, according to the filing.
Abhijit Chakravorty, the MD and CEO of SBI Cards, said, “There is a growing propensity of Indian consumers towards aspirational lifestyle and products. We are delighted to introduce Titan SBI Card, a specialised credit card that caters to the lifestyle spending needs of our customers.”
C K Venkataraman, the MD of Titan Company Limited, said that the unique co-brand card will further bolster the aspirations of the consumers.
“Through this card, we would like to empower our customers by offering them exciting benefits while shopping across their favourite Titan brands,” Venkataraman added.
Customers can apply for the Titan SBI Card through SBI Card SPRINT, accessible via the SBI Cards website.
SBI Cards will offer benefits worth up to ₹2 lakh per year to the customers through Titan SBI Card. Also, the company will charge a ₹2,999 joining and annual charges for the co-branded card.
Titan SBI Card benefits and features
The Titan SBI Card comes with a series of lucrative benefits like cashbacks, Titan gift vouchers, reward points and discounts across all lifestyle products offered by Titan and its associated brands.
Cardholders can get 7.5% cashback while buying Titan watches, Taneira’s women’s ethnic wear and eyewear from Titan EyePlus. While shopping at Mia, Caratlane and Zoya the cardholders can get a 5% cashback, both online and at offline stores.
On shopping at Tanishq, the cardholders can get Titan gift vouchers worth 3% of the total payment.
The cardholders are also eligible for 2 complimentary domestic airport lounge visits per quarter, a total of 8 lounge visits in a year.
Shares of SBI Cards and Payment Services Ltd closed 1.31% higher at ₹701.4 apiece on NSE.
