As many as 40 securities hit their 52-week high levels on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on Friday, December 27, as the equity benchmark indices traded in the green.

At 12:00 pm, the NIFTY 50 index was trading at 23,856, up 106 points, or 0.45%. The BSE SENSEX, meanwhile, jumped 334 points, or 0.43%, to trade at 78,807.

The volatility index, or India VIX, plunged 5.8% to 13.22. All the sectoral indices traded in the green, except the NIFTY Realty and NIFTY Consumer Durables indices, fell 0.4% and 0.2%, respectively.

Here’s a look at three major stocks that touched their 52-week highs on December 27:

Jubilant FoodWorks (52-week high: ₹724.9)

Shares of Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd climbed as much as 3% in trade on Friday to hit a fresh 52-week high of ₹724.9 apiece on the NSE. The stock has gained nearly 11% in the past month and 27% in the last one year.

Jubilant FoodWorks, which runs franchise restaurant chains such as Domino’s Pizza and Dunkin Donuts in India, announced on Thursday that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Coca-Cola India to purchase the latter's portfolio of sparkling beverage products. The move will allow Jubilant FoodWorks to serve Coca-Cola and other products of the US beverage company at the outlets of its franchise restaurant chains.

Oberoi Realty (52-week high: ₹2,343.65)

Shares of Oberoi Realty Ltd inched up almost 1% to hit their 52-week high of ₹2,343.65 apiece on the NSE today. The stock has climbed over 16% in the past one month and 62% in the past one year.

Oberoi Realty on Thursday announced that it has acquired 81.05 acres of land in Alibaug, Raigad district of Maharashtra, to build luxury villas and a five-star hotel after executing a development agreement with landowners. The company also took physical possession of the land upon execution of the agreement.

The consideration for the transaction to landowners is in the form of revenue and area share from the residential project.

Sagility India (52-week high: ₹53.86)

Shares of newly listed Sagility India Ltd rallied for a ninth straight session to hit their all-time high of ₹53.86 apiece on the NSE on Friday. The stock was listed on the exchanges on November 12 at ₹31.06 apiece, up 3.53% against the initial public offering (IPO) price of ₹30 per share. In almost one-and-a-half months, the stock has shot up nearly 75% from its IPO price and up to 72.5% since listing.

Sagility India is a technology-enabled pure-play healthcare-focused solutions and services provider that supports US-based payers, healthcare providers and their partners.
