On October 8, 2026, PC Jeweller said all mortgaged assets of the company and its personal and corporate guarantors have been released, following the receipt of no-objection, no-dues, and release letters from all 14 banks in its consortium.

The company said the original title deeds had been handed over to the relevant title holders. All charges, securities, personal and corporate guarantees, and undertakings provided by the company and its guarantors have also been fully released.

Q2 business update

Earlier this month, the jewellery company, in its provisional business update, said its consolidated revenue grew 28% year-on-year (YoY) in the second quarter of this fiscal year (Q2 FY27) on healthy consumer demand.

Last month, the company said it has become debt-free, having cleared dues of all 14 consortium banks. The company had a total debt of around ₹3,000 crore.

In September 2024, PC Jeweller had opted for OTS (one-time settlement) for its outstanding dues with a consortium of banks.

The company has received remittances of ₹142 crore during Q2 FY27 from its outstanding export debtors, PC Jeweller said.

"During the September quarter, the company achieved debt-free status after successful repayment of outstanding debt of all the banks, with all repayments completed ahead of the scheduled due dates. With no bank debts outstanding, the company will be saving on the interest cost in the future, which will positively impact its bottomline and strengthen its balance sheet," the company said.

PC Jeweller is one of the leading jewellery companies in the country. It has around 50 retail stores across major cities.

Jewellers see solid growth in Q2 FY27

Leading listed jewellery retailers reported revenue growth of 22-28% in the September quarter, supported by healthy consumer demand, strong same-store sales and increased spending by customers, despite the shift of Navratri festivities to the December quarter this year.

Companies such as P N Gadgil Jewellers, Titan, Kalyan Jewellers and PC Jeweller reported double-digit year-on-year growth in their respective quarterly business updates to the bourses, reflecting sustained demand for gold and studded jewellery amid a change in the festive calendar to the third quarter of FY27.
