Domestic equity bourses, NIFTY50 and SENSEX, are trading in the red, declining by 0.13% and 0.11%, respectively. The Nifty Midcap 100 index and Nifty Smallcap 100 index are trading in the red, falling by 0.11% and 0.12%, respectively.
On the NSE, 86 stocks hit the upper price band (Upper Circuit), and 28 stocks hit the lower price band (Lower Circuit).

GE T&D India is the entity of GE Vernova’s Electrification business in India. It has been in the power transmission and distribution business for more than 100 years and provides a versatile range of solutions for connecting and evacuating power from generation sources onto the grid. It has a market capitalisation of ₹49,800 crore. Over the past one year shares of the company have surged by 371%.
Additionally, the company is set to hold a Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, October 18, 2024, to consider and approve the subdivision/stock split of its equity shares and consider a proposal for fundraising. As of July 9, 2024, DPIL’s unexecuted order book position stood at ₹1,505 crore.
Diamond Power Infrastructure manufactures, transmits, and distributes power products and services in India. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹9,200 crore and has skyrocketed in shares over the past year by 2979%.
