At around 11:16 AM, the stock was trading 5.46% higher at ₹1,043.75 per equity share. The scrip had hit a year’s low of ₹613 per unit on May 9, 2025.

While the share has fallen 1% in the past week, it has advanced 25% over the month. On a year-to-date basis, it has gained 19%.

Q4 results

Nippon Life India AMC reported a 28.84% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its consolidated net profit to ₹384.72 crore in the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q4 FY26), compared to ₹298.60 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal year.

For FY26, Nippon Life AMC’s net profit stood at ₹1,529.4 crore, reflecting a 19% YoY increase from ₹1,286.4 crore for the previous fiscal year.

Its revenue from operations jumped 30% YoY to ₹738.7 crore for the reporting quarter, as against ₹566.5 crore in the March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).

The company recorded a revenue of ₹2,708.7 crore for FY26, up 21% YoY from ₹2,230.7 crore in FY25.

The firm saw a steady monthly systematic investment plan (SIP) flow, growing 24% YoY to ₹32,100 crore, from ₹25,900 crore in Q4 FY25.

Its quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM) stood at ₹7,250 billion in Q4 FY26, growing 30% YoY and 3% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ).

"Driven by our focus on execution, we continued to improve our market share with the highest increase in the industry in FY26, and this has also led to another year of record profit. Net sales and SIP market share both remain well above equity assets under management (AUM) market share, and we remain humbled to have the trust of over 1 in every 3 mutual fund investors," said Sundeep Sikka, MD & CEO, Nippon Life AMC India.

In a note, analysts at HSBC said that the control of operating costs led the company to beat yield expansion estimates. It continued to gain assets under management (AUM) market share, with the gains being a key re-rating driver. While its commodity funds benefited from cyclical tailwinds, any weakness in net flow would be a downside risk.

Final dividend

The company's board has recommended a final dividend of ₹12.50 per equity share of ₹10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2026. This is subject to shareholder approval at the company's upcoming Annual General Meeting on July 8.

Furthermore, it set Friday, June 26, 2026, as the record date for ascertaining the shareholders who will be eligible to receive the payment of the final dividend.

The payment date for the final dividend will be on and from July 10, 2026.

With this, the total dividend for the financial year 2025-26 would be ₹21.50 per equity share, including the interim dividend of ₹9 per equity share distributed in November 2025.

Nippon Life India Asset Management has a total market capitalisation of ₹66,727.79 crore as of April 28, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
