In its exchange filing, NCC Ltd said that the company has received a letter dated September 15, 2025, from the Water Resources Department, Bihar, for the construction of the Barner Reservoir Scheme in the Jamui district. The contract value is approx. ₹2,090.5 crore (excluding GST).

NCC Ltd (NCC) is a construction and infrastructure development company involved in a wide range of activities, including buildings, transportation, water and environment, electrical transmission and distribution, irrigation, mining, and railway projects.

It provides services such as constructing industrial, commercial, residential, and institutional structures, as well as developing expressways, highways, water supply systems, and electrical substations.

NCC Q1 FY26 Results

NCC Limited on Tuesday, August 5, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹192.1 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal year (Q1 FY26), down 8.4% year-on-year (YoY) from ₹209.9 crore posted in the year-ago period.

The company’s revenue from operations declined by 6.3% YoY to ₹5,178.9 crore against ₹5,527.9 crore in Q1 FY25. Its total income fell by 6% YoY to ₹5,207.9 crore in Q1 FY26 from ₹5,558.3 crore in the same period last year.

“NCC Limited [NCCL] has reported a turnover of ₹5,207.93 Crore (including other income) on a consolidated basis in the first quarter of financial year 2025-26 as against ₹5,558.33 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, a decrease of 6% on a year-on-year basis,” the company said in a release on Tuesday.

The construction firm’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) also fell by 4.3% to ₹456.12 crore during the June quarter as compared to ₹477.9 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. EBITDA margin increased marginally to 8.8% in Q1 FY26 from 8.6% in Q1 FY25.
