SUMMARY
NBCC stock surged to an intra-day high of ₹87.39 on the NSE after the company revealed that it won five orders valued at ₹405.8 crore on Wednesday. Further, it had previously inked a ₹3,500 crore deal with Sarkari Awas Nirman Avam Vitt Nigam Ltd.

Of all the orders received by the PSU, the largest worth ₹151.93 crore, was awarded by the Hindu College, University of Delhi for planning, design and execution of construction of “Centre for Advance Studies”, the company said in a regulatory filing dated January 15, 2025.
NBCC was also awarded a contract valued at ₹118.64 crore for planning, designing, and constructing the development of facilities at Fakir Mohan University (Vyasa Vihar), Balasore.
Additionally, it signed another order for ₹84.75 crore to construct the development amenities at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Sriramchandra Vihar, Takatpur, Baripada, Mayurbhanj.
The company was allotted another significant order worth ₹37.90 crore for the planning, designing and construction of an office building in Lucknow by the Uttar Pradesh Construction and Labour Development Federation (UPCLDF).
Lastly, it signed a deal valued at ₹11.86 crore with the Western Regional Power Committee (WRPC) of Mumbai for project management consultancy services to upgrade WPPC staff quarters, including structural repairs and external development.
Under an MoU with Sarkari Awas Nirman Avam Vitt Nigam, NBCC was awarded work for the “execution of mixed land use development” of the 588-acre Poorvi Vihar site in Lucknow. The project worth ₹3,500 crore will initially include the PSU taking possession of a 50-acre encumbrance-free site for planning, design, and development.
“NBCC will execute the project on a ‘deposit on work’ basis and the agency charge is 10% on the actual cost of the project plus GST & taxes as per applicable rates,” the company said.
The stock closed in the green at ₹85.88, up 2.10% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday.
It tumbled 3.14% in the past five days and 15.03% over the last month. It further lost 31.51% in six months. However, the scrip soared 40.40% over the last year.
According to the NSE, the PSU has a total market capitalisation of ₹23,187.60 crore as of January 15, 2025.
