NBCC shares recover from day’s low on bagging multiple work orders worth ₹176 crore; all you need to know

NBCC share price: Shares of PSU NBCC (India) recovered from its intraday low to trade in the positive territory on Tuesday, May 5, after it said it has bagged multiple orders worth ₹176.28 crore.

The stock surged nearly 1% to hit an intraday high of ₹93.19 per equity share. At around 1:58 PM, it was trading 0.21% higher at ₹92.71 per unit.

The scrip has declined 2% in the past week but gained 12% over the month. On a year-to-date basis, it has fallen 24%.

While the share hit a 52-week high of ₹130.70 apiece on June 5, 2025, it touched a year’s low of ₹77.18 on March 30, 2026.

In a regulatory filing, the Navratna PSU stated that it has received seven work orders in the ordinary course of business, all aggregating to ₹176.28 crore, excluding GST.

Of all the orders, the largest one came from Canara Bank and was worth ₹54.35 crore. The project involves the construction of an office building and residential quarters for the Bank in Palarivattom, Kochi.

It also secured a ₹7.46 crore contract for constructing residential apartments for Canara Bank in Punkunnam, Thrissur.

It received an order valued at ₹50.98 crore from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for the phase B construction at 11 permanent campuses of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) in Odisha.

Additionally, it will provision the furniture and internal fit-out for a permanent campus at JNV in Khagaria, Bihar, for Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, at ₹2.43 crore.

It bagged an order worth ₹29.48 crore from the Sports and Youth Services Department, Government of Odisha, for relaying synthetic athletic tracks for both main and practice tracks at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar.

The project also includes the renovation and upgrading of five FIFA-standard natural football grounds at Kalinga Stadium, both main and practice pitches, AIFF-FIFA Academy (Odisha football academy) at the 7th Battalion Ground (two pitches), and Capital Football Arena in Bhubaneswar.

It also comprises a five-year annual maintenance, repair, and servicing contract for fully automated pop-up and subsoil drainage pumps at five of the football grounds.

Furthermore, it secured a ₹29.24 crore order from IIM Sambalpur for various additional works under the Phase II Infrastructure Development Works at the permanent campus of the institution. This is part of a bigger order worth ₹208.61 crore, of which ₹179.37 crore was already intimated by the Company on December 19, 2025.

Lastly, it bagged an order worth ₹2.34 crore from APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) for planning, designing, and execution of fabrication and interior work for the company’s office premises, which has an approximate area of 3,200 square feet (sqft).
