NBCC shares climb as firm secures two orders worth ₹216 crore

Construction PSU firm NBCC on Wednesday, April 2, said it has bagged two orders worth ₹215.63 crore from the Central University of Haryana and the Western Regional Power Committee (WRPC).

Shares of NBCC closed at ₹82.98, up 1.57% on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) at around 3:20 pm on Wednesday.

National Buildings Construction Corporation’s (NBCC) deal with the Central University of Haryana, Jant-Pali, Mahendergarh, amounts to ₹166.93 crore. It is a comprehensive management consultancy services project for planning, designing and developing infrastructure facilities and other related work on the university campus, it said in a regulatory filing.

The second order from the WRPC for ₹48.70 crore involves project management consultancy (PMC) services for the demolition and comprehensive design engineering, construction and furnishing of the WRPC office, including the guest house. The project also includes external development work at Andheri East in Mumbai, NBCC stated in a stock regulatory statement.

NBCC share performance

Shares of NBCC surged 1.94% to an intra-day high of ₹83.20 on April 2 on the NSE.

The scrip fell 1.20% over the last week but gained 12.39% in March. The stock lost 10.74% on a year-to-date basis.

The share hit its 52-week low of ₹70.80 on March 3, 2025 and a high of ₹139.83 on August 28, 2024.

NBCC has a total market capitalisation of ₹22,372.20 crore as of April 2, 2025, on the NSE.

NBCC December quarter results

NBCC’s consolidated net profit stood at ₹138.48 crore in the December quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q3FY25), jumping 25.05% year-on-year (YoY) from ₹110.74 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Its revenue from operations surged 16.65% YoY to ₹2,826.96 crore in Q3FY25, compared to ₹2,423.52 crore in the third quarter of the 2023-24 financial year (Q3FY24).

The PSU’s EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation) was at ₹142 crore in the third quarter of FY25, climbing 22% from ₹116.8 crore in Q3FY24. The EBITDA margin stood at 5% versus 4.8%.
