Escorts Kubota exports in the month of May 2026 dropped 35% year-on-year to 423 units, compared to 651 units in the same period last year, as per the official filing.

Haryana-based tracker maker, Escorts Kubota's sales for May 2026 increased 18.9% year-on-year to 12,310 units, from its earlier 10,354 units, largely driven by the rise in domestic sales rather than exports, according to official filings.

Hyundai Motor India has already witnessed a 13% rise in sales in the first two months of the first quarter of the financial year ended 2026-27 to 99,739 units, from 88,235 units in the same period a year ago.

“In the first two months (April and May) of FY27, HMIL witnessed domestic sales rise by 13% to 99,739 units, compared to 88,235 units in the same period of FY26,” said Tarun Garg, the MD and CEO of Hyundai Motor India.

Hyundai Motor India's domestic sales rose 9.1% YoY to 47,837 units in May 2026, contributing to the total sales increase of 4.4% to 61,137 units in the same period.

"HMIL reported total monthly sales (Domestic plus Exports) of 61,137 units in May 2026," the company informed the stock exchanges.

Bajaj Auto’s exports in the commercial vehicles business sales jumped 65% to 29,550 units in May 2026, compared YoY with 17,930 units in the same period a year ago, as per the NSE filings.

The automaker's two-wheeler exports rose 30% to 1,83,676 units in the period under review, from 1,40,958 units in the same period a year ago.

Bajaj Auto commercial vehicles sales jumped 30% to 68,053 units in May 2026, compared with 52,251 units in the same period last year, as per the NSE data.

While the domestic commercial vehicles sales expanded 12% to 38,503 units in May 2026, from 34,321 units in the same period a year ago, the automaker's exports business recorded major portion of the sales growth year-on-year.

NSE filings showed that Bajaj Auto's total sales advanced by 20% to 4,61,257 lakh units in May 2026, compared YoY with ₹3,84,621 units in the same period a year ago.

Bajaj Auto two-wheeler sales witnessed 18% year-on-year rise to 3,93,204 units in May 2026, from 3,32,370 units in the same period a year ago primarily due to the company's export operations, according to the official data release on June 1, 2026.

India's largest automaker, Maruti Suzuki India, share price is set to be in focus of the stock market investors as the company is set to release its May 2026 sales data on June 1.

After Friday's trading session, Maruti Suzuki shares closed 1.77% lower at ₹13,127, compared to ₹13,364 at the previous market close, as per NSE data.

In April 2026, Maruti Suzuki recorded 33.29% surge in total sales to a record level of 2,39,646 units, compared year-on-year with the same period last year.
