Jupiter Wagons share price: Shares of railway-linked stocks such as Jupiter Wagons and RailTel were trading with notable gains in the early trade on Thursday, August 21. The stocks rallied following the respective order wins by the companies.

Jupiter Wagons, in its filing to stock exchanges on Wednesday, said its material unlisted subsidiary, Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory, has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) dated August 19, 2025, for the supply of a total of 5,376 wheelsets for the Vande Bharat Train for an order value of approximately ₹215 crore.

The stock of the company rallied as much as 12.62% to ₹371.50 apiece on the BSE.

Jupiter Wagons Limited is one of the leading manufacturers of railway wagons, freight cars, and components for passenger coaches. They also produce load bodies for commercial vehicles, marine containers, and other transportation solutions.

The company is known for its integrated manufacturing facilities and backward-integrated approach, including a foundry and cold roll-forming mills. Jupiter Wagons is also expanding into electric vehicles through its subsidiary, Jupiter Electric Mobility.

Shares of RailTel Corporation of India rallied as much as 4% to ₹373.80 apiece on the BSE after the company won two orders. One is worth ₹15.42 crore, while the other one is worth ₹34.99 crore.

In its filing to stock exchanges, RailTel Corporation of India said it has received the work order from Higher Education Department, Govt Of Odisha for Work Order amounting to ₹15.42 crore (including Tax). The order is for the design and development of CMS-based Bilingual Websites for Colleges for the Higher Education Department.

The work order is set to be executed by February 19, 2026.

The second order RailTel received from Kerala State Information Technology Mission for Projects O&M of SDC amounting to ₹34,99,85,628 (Excluding Tax).

The work is related to Data Centre Operator for the operation and maintenance of the State Data Centres for a period of five years.

The order is set to be executed by August 18, 2030.
