Inox Wind shares jump 3% on bagging order from Indian Oil worth ₹755 crore

Inox Wind shares gained 3% to touch an intraday high of ₹72.49 apiece on Thursday, September 3, after the company said it has bagged a major order from Indian Oil Corporation.

Worth ₹755 crore, the company said it has secured a 100 MW turnkey order, which will be executed on a turnkey basis and includes post-commissioning operations and maintenance (O&M) services.

Under the order, Inox Wind will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of the project, including the supply of wind turbine generators, engineering, procurement & construction (EPC), project execution and post-commissioning O&M services.

The order strengthens Inox Wind’s diversified customer portfolio, which spans commercial & industrial (C&I) customers, public sector undertakings (PSUs) and independent power producers (IPPs).

“We are pleased to have secured this 100 MW turnkey order from Indian Oil Corporation Limited, a Maharatna company and India’s largest oil marketing company. This repeat order is a testament to the confidence that leading institutional customers place in our integrated capabilities and execution track record,” said Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO, Renewables business, INOXGFL Group.

Inox Wind Q1 FY27 earnings

Inox Wind’s consolidated net profit more than doubled to ₹97.34 crore in the June quarter compared to the year-ago period, mainly due to higher revenues. It had posted a consolidated net profit of ₹41.59 crore in the year-ago period.

Total income rose to ₹862.56 crore during the quarter from Rs 654.64 crore in the same period a year ago.

As of July 2026, Inox Wind has a diversified order book of around 4.4 GW from IPP, PSU, C&I and retail customers.

Inox Wind share price trends

At 12:10 AM, Inox Wind shares were trading at ₹71.76 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, gaining 1.66%.

From the beginning of the year, Inox Wind shares have declined nearly 42%. Over a month’s time, the stock has slipped 9%, while for a six-month period, it has dropped 16%.

Shares of the firm had hit a 52-week high of ₹159.30 on October 29, 2025, and a 52-week low of ₹68 on September 2, 2026.

According to NSE data, as of September 3, 2026, Inox Wind has a total market capitalisation of ₹12,403.56 crore.
