The Indian equity benchmarks were on track to gain for a fifth straight session on Tuesday, July 7. The NIFTY50 index moved above its crucial psychological level of 24,500 for first time in four months and the 30-share SENSEX rose as much as 380 points led by gains in index heavyweights like Infosys, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, Tata Consultancy Services, Titan, Eternal and HCL Technologies.

As of 12:21 pm, the SENSEX was up 259 points at 78,544 and NIFTY50 index advanced 64 points to 24,495.

Here are stocks witnessing heavier than usual trading volumes
Info Edge: Shares of the Naukri.com, Jeevansathi and 99acre.com operator rose as much as 11.64% to hit an intraday high of ₹1,144.50 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) after the company said that its total billings in the first quarter of current financial year rose 14% to ₹737 crore.

The stock was witnessing high trading activity as volumes jumped by 5.7 times to 89.16 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 15.78 lakh shares.

On the BSE, 4.32 lakh shares changed hands compared with an average of 1.53 lakh shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Trent: Shares of Zudio retail chain operator dropped as much as 12% after the company's quarterly business update failed to enthuse investors.

Trent reported a 19% year-on-year (YoY) increase in standalone revenue for the June quarter (Q1FY27).

Trent said standalone revenue from operations (excluding GST) stood at ₹5,666 crore in Q1 FY27, compared with ₹4,781 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Revenue from the sale of merchandise, excluding other operating income, also grew 19% YoY during the quarter.

The stock was witnessing high trading activity as volumes on the NSE jumped 5.4 times to 60.14 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 11.18 lakh shares.

Kalyan Jewellers: Shares of the jewellery retailer dropped as much as 8.62% to hit an intraday low of ₹367 after the company said that it witnessed a revenue growth of 38% for India operations during Q1 FY27 as compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year.

The increase was led by robust operating momentum on the ground with healthy same-store-sales growth (SSSG) across all the key markets in the country despite the 28-day Adhik Maas period falling fully in the recently concluded quarter.

Trading volume in the stock jumped by 4 times to 1.78 crore shares compared with an average volume of 46 lakh shares.

Cyient: Shares of the IT company fell as much as 6% to hit an intraday low of ₹821 amid spike in trading activity.

Trading volume on the NSE jumped by 3.3 times to 6.87 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 2.07 lakh shares.

On the BSE, 92,000 shares changed hands compared with an average of 21,000 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.

Jubilant FoodWorks: Shares of Domino's pizza chain operator advanced as much as 3.89% to hit an intraday high of ₹455 after the company said that its consolidated revenue in the first quarter of current financial year advanced 14% to ₹2,569 crore.

The company added that same store sales growth for Domino's rose 2.5%.

Trading volume jumped 2.9 times to 76.53 lakh shares compared with an average volume of 26.78 lakh shares.
