ICICI Prudential AMC shares fall over 4% despite posting 10% YoY rise in Q4 profit; dividend declared

ICICI Prudential share price: Shares of ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) declined as much as 4.41% to hit an intraday low of ₹3,205.70 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, April 15.

This comes after the mutual fund manager announced its results for the fourth quarter of the 2025-26 financial year (Q4 FY26) on Monday. The stock fell despite reporting a 10% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its net profit.

The stock was trading 4.21% higher at ₹3,212.40 per equity share at around 11:06 AM.

The scrip has gained 3% in the past week and about 11.5% over the month. On a year-to-date basis, it has advanced 22%.

While the share touched a 52-week high of ₹3,430 on April 10, 2026, it reached a year’s low of ₹2,530 per unit on December 22, 2025.

Q4 earnings

On Monday, April 13, the AMC reported a 10.37% YoY increase in its net profit to ₹763.42 crore for the March quarter of FY26, up from ₹691.71 crore in the same period last year.

However, on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, its profit slumped 16.76% sequentially from ₹917.09 crore in the December quarter of the current fiscal year.

ICIC Prudential AMC’s revenue from operations grew by 19.53% YoY to ₹1,517.01 crore for the reporting quarter, in comparison to ₹1,269.19 crore in the March quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal year (Q4 FY25).

On a sequential basis, its revenue from operations remained flat, rising 0.15% from ₹1,514.67 crore in Q3 FY26.

It recorded 1.7 crore unique customers as of March 31, 2026, as compared to 1.46 crore in the year-ago period.

Its mutual fund (MF) quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM) stood at ₹11,047.87 billion for the March quarter of FY26, with a market share of 13.5%, compared with ₹8,794.12 billion in the year-ago period.

Its monthly systematic transactions for March 2026 rose to ₹51.04 billion as compared to ₹39.06 billion in the same month of 2025.

Dividend announced

Furthermore, the asset management company's board of directors also recommended a final dividend of ₹12.40 per equity share for FY26, subject to approval of the Members at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM).

"The dividend on equity shares will be paid to the eligible Members after the same is approved by the Members at the ensuing AGM of the Company," it said in a regulatory filing.

ICICI Prudential AMC has a total market capitalisation of ₹1.59 lakh crore as of April 15, 2026, according to data on the NSE.
