HUDCO on Monday, March 10, approved its second interim dividend of ₹1.05 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25 with a record date of March 14.

“The Board of Directors considered and approved the declaration of a second interim dividend of ₹1.05 per equity share, i.e., @ 10.50% (subject to deduction of TDS) on the face value of ₹10 each, for the financial year 2024-25 and fixed Friday, 14th March, 2025, as the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for payment of interim dividend,” the company said in a statement to the stock exchanges.

The state-owned Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) informed that the process of interim dividend payment will be completed within 30 days of its declaration.

The company had earlier declared an interim dividend of ₹2.05 per share on January 30, 2025.

On Monday, shares of the firm tanked 2.29% to settle at ₹178.10 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Its market capitalisation stands at ₹35,653.84 crore.

In the last five trading sessions, HUDCO shares have gained 7.48%. Over a one-year period, the scrip has lost over 8.8%. It has declined nearly 30% in the last six months, while, year-to-date, it has fallen over 25%.

December quarter earnings

HUDCO had posted a net profit of ₹735 crore for the December quarter of the financial year 2024-2025, increasing 41.6% year-on-year (YoY).

The non-banking financial company-infrastructure finance company (NBFC-IFC) also reported a 37.14% rise in revenue from operations at ₹2,760.23 crore on a year-on-year basis.

For the first nine months of FY25, Hudco’s net profit advanced 39.87% YoY to ₹1,981.40 crore. Its revenue during the same period rose by 30.55% year on year, to ₹7,466.13 crore. The company had attributed its performance to growth in its loan book and a reduction in non-performing assets (NPAs).

During the nine-month period FY25, HUDCO’s net NPAs reduced from 0.44% to 0.27% YoY.
