SRF, Navin Fluorine: Shares of specialty chemical players SRF Ltd and Navin Fluorine Ltd jumped up to 15% on Thursday, January 9, amid reports that US gas distributors have raised prices for refrigerant gases.

The SRF stock rallied as much as 14.7% to hit a 52-week high of ₹2,697.70 apiece on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). Shares of Navin Fluorine too hit a 52-week high of ₹4,017.10 apiece on the NSE, up 14.99%.

According to reports, refrigerant gas prices could go up by 200% after IGas USA, a leading American manufacturer of refrigerant gases, said that the supply of R32 and R125 has been impacted.

The R32 and R125 refrigerants are used in air conditioning and low-temperature refrigeration systems.

MobiKwik: Shares of MobiKwik were trading at ₹592.50 apiece on the NSE, down 3.67%.

Recently, the company released its earnings for the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25. MobiKwik reported a net loss of ₹3.59 crore during the second quarter that ended September 31, 2024, as against ₹5.22 crore consolidated profit recorded in the same quarter a year ago.

During the reporting quarter, revenue from operations surged 42.8% to ₹290.64 crore as against ₹203.45 crore at the end of September 2023, the company said in an exchange filing released during Wednesday's trading hours. READ MORE
GTPL Hathway: Shares of GTPL Hathway were trading over 12% higher at ₹151.50 apiece on the NSE. The company is slated to declare its December quarter results today.

For the September quarter (Q2 FY25), GTPL Hathway Ltd, the provider of cable and internet services, reported a decline of 61.7% in its consolidated net profit to ₹13.74 crore.

Borosil Renewables: Shares of Borosil Renewables, a leading manufacturer of solar glass, hit a 5% upper circuit limit of ₹603.10 apiece on Thursday, January 9, as the company on Wednesday underscored its commitment to Atmanirbhar Bharat by announcing an expansion of 50% of its present capacity in the manufacturing of solar glass, a critical component in the manufacturing of photovoltaic solar panels. Manappuram Finance: Shares of Manappuram Finance, one of India's leading gold loan NBFCs, surged as much as 6.4% to ₹191.50 apiece on the NSE on Thursday, January 9, as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday lifted the supervisory restrictions on Chennai-based Asirvad Micro Finance Limited, a subsidiary of Manappuram Finance, and New Delhi-based DMI Finance Private Limited, citing compliance with remedial measures and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
TCS: Shares of the IT bellwether were trading 0.6% lower at ₹4,083.95 on the NSE ahead of the company's Q3 results declaration. TCS is expected to post a muted earnings set given furloughs and currency fluctuations.
Wipro: Shares of Wipro were trading over 1.5% lower at ₹293 apiece on the NSE. The company will declare its financial results for the three months ending September 2024 on January 17. Wipro is also likely to announce an interim dividend for its shareholders.
Kalyan Jewellers India: Once again Kalyan Jewellers shares were trading with losses. Last seen, the stock was trading 4.59% lower at ₹674.10 on the BSE.
Oil India: Shares were trading nearly 7% lower at ₹458.05 apiece on the NSE. The stock of the company has given over 80% return in the past 12 months.
Swiggy: Shares of the company rallied over 6% to ₹520.70 apiece on the BSE. The stock rallied as global brokerage Bernstein is bullish on the stock.

According to news reports, Bernstein said that Swiggy's current valuations seem reasonable, with the potential for its shares to re-rate. The brokerage projects that the food delivery segment's gross order value will grow at a rate of 21% from FY25 to FY27.
