KPI Green Energy Ltd

KPI Green Energy stock hit the 5% upper circuit band at ₹802.30 in the early morning session on Friday. The Gujarat-based company specialises in renewable energy solutions. It develops, builds, owns, and operates solar power plants as Independent Power Producers (IPP) and Captive Power Producers (CPP).

Yesterday, after the market closed, the company reported that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Rajasthan to develop Hybrid, Solar, and wind Power Projects in Jaisalmer (Ramgarh).

Additionally, the company has fixed Friday, January 03, 2025, as the Record Date for determining the eligibility of shareholders entitled to the issuance of Bonus Equity Shares of the company in the proportion of One Equity Share of ₹5 each for every two existing Equity Share of ₹5 each, subject to the approval of shareholders.

As of September 2024, the company's cumulative order book stands at 2,409+ MW, out of which 1,261+ MW is under the Independent Power Producer (IPP) segment and 1,148+ MW is under the Captive Power Producer (CPP) segment. It has a market capitalisation of ₹10,500 crore.

Sagility India Ltd

Sagility India hit the 5% upper circuit limit at ₹46.09 in the early morning session today. Recently, the company declared strong financial results for Q2FY25. Revenue from operations for the quarter under review jumped 21% YoY to ₹1,325 crore compared to ₹1,094.10 crore in Q2FY24. PAT came at ₹117.34 crore, up 236% YoY; in the same quarter last year, the company's profit was ₹34.96 crore, and in the last quarter, the profit was ₹22.29 crore.

The company was listed recently on November 12, 2024, at a 3.5% premium over the IPO price. Sagility is a technology-enabled, healthcare-focused solutions and services provider that supports U.S.-based payers, providers, and their partners in delivering best-in-class operations, enhancing member and provider experiences, and improving the quality of care, all while ensuring cost-effective financial and clinical outcomes. The company serves five of the top ten health insurance companies in the U.S., utilising its advanced technology, processes, and solutions to ensure efficient operations and minimise additional administrative costs. It has a market capitalisation of ₹21,500 crore.

SPML Infra Ltd

SPML Infra shares hit the 5% upper circuit at ₹289.67 in the early morning session of Friday. Incorporated in 1981, SPML Infra is in the business of infrastructure development. The company has a market capitalisation of ₹1,900 crore and over the past year company shares have surged staggering by 196%.

Stocks hitting the lower circuit on Friday (December 20, 2024)

PC Jeweller Ltd

The popular jewellery brand hit the 5% lower circuit limit in the morning session of Friday at ₹16.80. On December 16, the company had a record date for the stock split in the ratio of 10:1, which was approved by its board of directors on September 30, 2024, to enhance liquidity and make the shares more affordable for retail investors. According to the company's official filing, this move will subdivide each fully paid-up equity share of ₹10 face value into 10 shares of ₹1 each.

The company declared strong financial results for Q2FY25. On a consolidated basis, total income increased by 10.99% from ₹494.24 crore in Q2FY24 to ₹548.54 crore. PAT increased from a net loss of ₹138.13 crore in Q2FY24 to a net profit of ₹178.88 crore.

PC Jeweller manufactures, sells, and trades gold, diamond-studded, and silver jewellery. It operates in different geographical areas and has a market capitalisation of ₹8,000 crore.

Sky Gold Ltd

Sky Gold stock got locked in the 5% lower today at ₹418.90 in the early morning session of Friday. On December 16, the company had a record date for the bonus of 9:1, which was approved by its board in early November. This means that it will issue nine new bonus equity shares of ₹10 each for every existing equity share of ₹10 each.

The company declared strong financial results for Q2FY25. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations for Q2FY25 stood at ₹768.8 crore, growing 94.2% year over year and 6.3% quarter over quarter. PAT for Q2FY25 stood at ₹36.7 crore, increasing by 405.2% compared to the same quarter last year.

Sky Gold designs, manufactures, and markets gold jewellery. It has a market capitalisation of ₹6,100 crore.
