On Wednesday, the homegrown FMCG reported an 8.35% decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹312.73 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2025, owing to higher expenses in a challenging demand environment.

The company had posted a profit of ₹341.22 crore in the year-ago period, Dabur India said in a regulatory filing.

Revenue from operations in the quarter under review stood at ₹2,830.14 crore, up 0.55% as against ₹2,814.64 crore logged in the year-ago period, it added.

Total expenses were higher at ₹2,559.39 crore as compared to ₹2,490.43 crore seen in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

While the demand environment remained challenging with high food inflation and a surge in the cost of living continuing to limit urban spending, Dabur, the company said, drove consumer engagement and brand superiority across product categories to end the fourth quarter of 2024-25 with market share gains across 90% of the portfolio, it added.

In FY25, Dabur India's net profit was down 4% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹1,740.42 crore. Total income was at ₹13,113.19 crore, up 1.75%.

Dabur India also said that its board has recommended a final dividend of 525%, which is ₹5.25 per equity share having a face value of ₹1 each.
