Shares of one of India’s large-sized IT firm, Coforge, jumped nearly 2% on Thursday afternoon to hit intraday high of ₹1,479 apiece after company announced launching AI-powered cloud platform.

Coforge has launched SecureEdge2Cloud, a next-generation AI-powered, Zero Trust security offering built on the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform. The offering enables organizations across industries to securely accelerate digital transformation, strengthen cyber resilience, and confidently adopt cloud, AI, and modern digital technologies.

Coforge was recently onboarded into the next phase of Zscaler’s Project AI-Guardian, expanding ecosystem collaboration and strengthening interoperability across the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform and its AI security portfolio.

SecureEdge2Cloud is designed to help organizations simplify security while reducing the complexity of managing multiple point solutions. Built across the OSI 7 layers framework, the offering combines the power of the Zero Trust Exchange with Coforge's deep expertise in cloud transformation, AI, cybersecurity, and enterprise modernization.

IT shares are in focus on Thursday as the Q1FY27 earnings season kickstarts for the sector from today. The Indian IT belwether Tata Consultancy Services will announce its quarterly earnings during post market hours, for the quarter ended June 2026. Investors will closely monitor the guidance for FY27 as it could provide further cues for the entire sector.

The NIFTY IT index has fallen over 20% in 2026 on a YTD basis and trading over 30% lower from the record high levels touched in December 2024. Coforge shares have delivered -11% returns in 2026 on a YTD basis and trading 23.7% lower on a yearly basis.
