Ceigall India shares jump as much as 7% after Q1 net profit rises 76.5%; check details

Ceigall India reported a 76.5% increase in its net profit to ₹77.85 crore in Q1 FY25.

Infrastructure construction company Ceigall India's shares were trading in the green territory on Tuesday after the company reported its financial results for the first quarter of fiscal year 2024-25.

The stock was trading 3% higher at ₹405.8 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Intraday, it surged as much as 7% to ₹421.5.

Ceigall India shares debuted on the stock exchanges earlier this month. It listed at ₹419 per share as against the IPO price of ₹410 apiece. The stock is currently trading 3% lower than its listing price.

Ceigall India Q1 results

Ceigall India reported a 76.5% increase in its net profit to ₹77.85 crore in Q1 FY25, compared to ₹44.10 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Revenue from operations jumped 26.4% to ₹822.3 crore as against ₹650.1 crore in the year-ago period.

The road infrastructure developer's total expenses rose 21.5% to ₹726.2 crore in the latest April-June quarter ₹597.4 crore a year back.

From the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) segment, the revenue grew 29.9% to ₹814.9 crore. The revenue from annuity projects stood at ₹247.5 crore.
