BSE Ltd: Shares of BSE Ltd were trading nearly 6% higher at ₹5,770.60 apiece on the NSE. The stock price rallied as leading brokerages were bullish on the stock.

According to Jefferies, markets regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India's (SEBI), recent measures on futures and options (F&O) trading have significantly impacted option volumes, which have dropped by 70%.

Despite the decline in volumes, BSE's premiums are down by less than 10% month-to-date in January, as traders shift towards larger average ticket sizes. Exchanges have benefited from these changes, seeing stable topline growth and substantial margin expansion due to improved premium quality.

HDFC AMC: Shares of HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC) jumped as much as 6% to ₹4,096.65 apiece on the NSE. The company on Tuesday, January 14, reported a net profit or profit after tax (PAT) of ₹641.5 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3 FY25).

The figure grew 31% year-on-year (YoY) as the company had registered a net profit of ₹489.6 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue from operations for the quarter under review came in at ₹934.3 crore, up 39% from ₹671.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. READ MORE
IRFC: Shares of Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC), the PSU engaged in raising financial resources for expansion and running through capital markets and other borrowings, surged as much as 3.65% to ₹140.50 apiece on the NSE on Wednesday, January 15, on emerging as the lowest bidder for a project in Jharkhand.

An L1 bidder is the lowest bidder in a tender, bidding process, or procurement solicitation. The L1 bidder is selected based on the lowest cost to complete the work.

Shoppers Stop: Shares of Shoppers Stop zoomed as much as 11% to ₹688.70 apiece on the NSE on Wednesday, January 15, a day after the company reported its December quarter (Q3 FY25) numbers.

Shoppers Stop Ltd posted a rise in quarterly profit on Tuesday, after two straight quarters of loss, driven by strong demand for premium products such as watches and perfumes during the festive season.

Last seen, the stock was trading at ₹638.50 apiece on the NSE, up around 3%.

Vodafone Idea: Shares of the telecom firm were trading nearly 10% higher at ₹9.07 apiece on the NSE.

Vodafone Idea (Vi) has partnered with HCLSoftware to make its 4G and 5G networks more efficient, a release said on Tuesday.

The telecom operator is now using HCL Augmented Network Automation (HCL ANA), a multi-vendor self-optimising network platform, to manage its Ericsson and Samsung networks.

Bank of Maharashtra: Bank of Maharashtra, the state-run lender, will release its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3 FY25) on Wednesday, January 15.

Shares of the PSB slipped as much as 4.5% to ₹50.36 apiece on the NSE in the early trade.

The public sector bank posted a 44% jump in its profit at ₹1,327 crore for the second quarter ended September 2024 (Q2 FY25) on account of improvement in interest income.

Last seen, the stock of the bank was trading at ₹51 on the NSE, down 3.30%.

L&T Technology Services: L&T Technology Services (LTTS), or L&T Tech, is all set to declare its financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2024 (Q3 FY25). The midcap IT services company, along with its peers, is expected to outperform larger peers with strong deal wins and acquisitions.

The top-line growth in mid-sized IT firms is expected to be in the range of 4% to 10% as per consensus estimates.

Premier Energies: Shares of solar cell and solar module manufacturer Premier Energies climbed as much as 5.6% to ₹1,179 apiece on the NSE on Wednesday, January 15, as the company's units have bagged orders worth ₹1,460 crore.

"Premier Energies Global Environment Private Limited, Premier Energies International Private Limited, and Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Limited, the subsidiaries of Premier Energies Limited, have received and accepted multiple orders aggregating to ₹1,460 crore from 2 large Independent Power Producers (IPP) and others," the company said.

These orders include ₹1,041 crore for solar modules and ₹419 crore for solar cells. The delivery of these modules will commence in May 2025. READ MORE
Alok Industries: Shares of Alok Industries jumped up to 10% to ₹21.21 apiece on the NSE. The company is slated to release its December quarter results tomorrow (Thursday, January 16).
