Antelopus Selan Energy share price today: Shares of oil and gas exploration and production company Antelopus Selan Energy were trading with significant gains on Wednesday, September 2, as the Government of India approved the award of two contract areas under the Discovered Small Field Bid Round-IV to the company.

The stock rallied as much as 19.85% to hit a 52-week and intraday high of ₹950 per equity share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, September 2, compared with its previous closing price of ₹792.65 apiece. It touched a year’s low of ₹357 per unit on January 13, 2026.

At 2:13 PM, the scrip was trading 18.37% higher at ₹938.25 per equity share. The shares have gained 18% in the past week and 14% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has soared 128%.

The award was communicated by the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India, vide its letter dated August 31, 2026, as per a regulatory filing dated September 1.

The award is subject to execution of the Revenue Sharing Contract (RSC) between the President of India and the company, it stated.

The firm further stated that the awarded contract areas are both onshore, with the contract area “KG/ONDSF/KG ONLAND/2025” being an onshore field located in the Krishna Godavari (KG) basin in Andhra Pradesh and the “CB/ONDSF/CAMBAY ONLAND/2025” contract area being located onshore within the Cambay Basin in Gujarat.

“The award further strengthens the company’s presence in the state of Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh, where the Company already has an established operating presence,” Antelopus Selan Energy said.

The company added the high-quality blocks add significant acreage to the its portfolio and are expected to meaningfully support its continued growth trajectory.

Antelopus Selan Energy Q1 results

Antelopus Selan Energy reported a 384.14% or nearly a four-fold year-on-year (YoY) increase in its net profit to ₹54.32 crore in the April-June quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27), as against ₹11.22 crore in the same period last year.

Its revenue from operations advanced 157.26% YoY to ₹133.13 crore during the quarter under review, compared to ₹51.75 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).
