Hero MotoCorp share price today: Shares of Hero MotoCorp Ltd declined as much as 6.8% to hit an intraday low of ₹5,260 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday, September 2, following the release of its monthly sales report for August.

At around 11:35 AM, the stock was trading 5.12% lower at ₹5,270.50 per equity share. The scrip has lost 7% in the past week and 4% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has fallen 11%.

While the scrip hit a 52-week high of ₹6,388.50 per equity share on December 5, 2025, it touched a year’s low of ₹4,671.50 per unit on June 30, 2026.

The company's total dispatches rose 2.64% year-on-year (YoY) to 5,68,398 units in August 2026, up from 5,53,727 units in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

Its retail growth momentum continued to be strong, with VAHAN growth of 19% over previous year, reflecting robust demand conditions, the automaker said.

However, its motorcycle dispatch fell 2% YoY to 4,93,851 units during the month under review, as against 5,01,523 in August 2025.

The company dispatched 74,547 units of scooters in August 2026, marking a 42.8% YoY jump from 52,204 units in the year-ago period.

Hero MotoCorp saw its domestic dispatch advance by 4.4% YoY to 5,42,305 units in August 2026, compared with 5,19,139 units dispatched in August 2025.

However, its export dispatch stood at 26,093 units, down by 24.6% YoY from 34,588 units in the same period of 2025.

VIDA, Hero MotoCorp's Emerging Mobility business unit, sustained its strong growth momentum in August 2026 with dispatch of 25,558 units and a healthy VAHAN growth of 38%.

The Company's domestic internal combustion engine (ICE) business recorded dispatches of 5,16,747 units in August 2026 and 18% VAHAN retail growth.

“The continued retail momentum augurs well for the festive season, supported by a more flexible supply chain ecosystem with its ability to respond quickly to festive demand,” it said.

Its global business unit recorded dispatches of 26,093 units in August 2026, the filing read.
