Acme Solar Holdings shares jump 3% on bagging 300 MW Assured Peak power project from SECI; key details

Acme Solar Holdings share price: Shares of Acme Solar Holdings advanced as much as 3.03% to hit an intraday high of ₹398 per unit on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday, August 28, as the company said it bagged an order from Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) for a 300-megawatt (MW) Assured Peak power project.

At around 2:06 PM, the stock was trading 2.25% higher at ₹395 per equity share. The scrip has lost2% in the past week but gained 11% over the month. On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, it has jumped 66%.

While the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹411.50 per unit on August 24, 2026, they touched a year’s low of ₹195.90 apiece on January 27, 2026.

According to a regulatory filing, the company received a letter of award (LoA) from SECI for 300 MW of contracted capacity, secured under SECI’s 6,000 megawatt-hour (MWh) (1,500 MW × 4 hours) Assured Peak Power tender.

Under the contract, the scheduled commencement of supply date (SCSD) is 18 months from the date of signing the power purchase agreement (PPA), with a project tenure of 25 years from the date of SCSD.

The project has a size of 300 MW and a tariff of ₹6 per kWh for the entire tenure of the PPA, the filing added.

Recent update

In a separate regulatory filing dated Thursday, Acme Solar Holding stated that it has commissioned a 15 MW/240.752 MWh capacity Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project located at Sanwara and Mehar Nagar villages in Jailsmer, Rajasthan, on August 27, 2026, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, ACME Suryodaya Private Limited.

The company fixed August 29, 2026 as the commercial operation date (COD) for the same.

With this, ACME Suryodaya Private Limited achieved a commissioned capacity of 300 MW /1,354.224 MWh.
