SUMMARY
ABB India's profit after tax increased 56% to ₹528.41 crore in Q4 CY24, compared to ₹338.68 crore in the same period last year. Total orders for the quarter under review were ₹2,695 crore.

In the early trade, the stock advanced as much as 4.23% to ₹5,464 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Profit after tax (PAT) increased 56% to ₹528.41 crore in Q4 CY24, compared to ₹338.68 crore in the same period last year.
Revenue from operations rose 22% to ₹3,364.93 crore in the December quarter of the calendar year 2024 as against ₹2,757.49 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Total orders for the quarter under review were ₹2,695 crore. Base orders for the quarter expanded by 4%, while total orders fell due to the impact of "one-time large orders in the same period in CY2023."
ABB India also recommended a final dividend of ₹33.4 per share, subject to shareholders' approval at the forthcoming annual general meeting. The record date has been set at May 3, 2025.
This is in addition to ₹10.66 interim dividend per equity share declared in Q2 CY2024.
Commenting on earnings, Sanjeev Sharma, Managing Director of ABB India, said, "2024 has been another year of record high orders, revenue, and margins. We continue to bring the best of global technology with local engineering and manufacturing for our customers and partners."
On the outlook, the company said it is well-positioned with its "local for local" strategy to cater to 23 market segments.
"While the company remains a beneficiary of the government's capex investments in mega infrastructure and renewable projects, it is also able to convert business opportunities in limited industrial capex in metals and mining, energy and chemicals as well as buildings and data centers," ABB India said in an exchange filing.
