The allotment, which was delayed by a day due to a record 97.34 lakh applications, was finalised on Friday. Waaree Energies IPO: Objective

The company is issuing new shares worth ₹3,600 crore, and an offer-for-sale of 48 lakh shares amounting to ₹721.44 crore. This translates into an IPO size of ₹4,321.44 crore.

The net proceeds will be employed to set up a 6 gigawatt of ingot wafer, solar cell, and solar photovoltaic module manufacturing plant. A part will also be used for general corporate purposes.

The solar PV module manufacturer's revenue increased 68.8% to ₹11,397 crore in the financial year 2023-24 (FY24), compared to ₹6,750 crore in FY23. Revenue increased 299.3% compared to FY22.

The net profit increased 154.8% to ₹1,274 crore in FY24 against ₹500 crore in the previous fiscal. The post-tax profit increased 1500.5% in comparison to FY22.
