Waaree Energies IPO allotment status: The share allotment status of solar panel manufacturer Waaree Energies Ltd is likely to be finalised on Thursday, October 24. During the three-day bidding period from October 21 to October 24, the IPO received a strong response from investors.

The ₹4,321.44 crore initial share sale was subscribed 76.34 times, receiving bids for 1,60,91,61,741 equity shares against 2,10,79,384 shares on offer.

The demand was led by qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), who subscribed 208.63 times the quota reserved for them. The non-institutional investors portion fetched 62.48 times subscription, while the retail investors part attracted 10.79 times subscription.

The IPO, which had a price band of ₹1,427 to ₹1,503 per share, received the highest number of applications ever at 97.34 lakh, surpassing Bajaj Housing Finance and Tata Technologies, which received 90 lakh applications and 73 lakh applications, respectively.

Waaree Energies IPO listing date

Investors who have been allotted equity shares can expect them to be credited to their Demat account on Friday, October 25. Refunds for unsuccessful investors will be processed on the same date. The Waaree Energies IPO listing date is October 28. The company's shares will be listed on the NSE and the BSE.

The IPO was a mix of fresh equity shares worth ₹3,600 crore and an offer-for-sale worth ₹721.44 crore. The money raised will be used to establish a 6GW ingot wafer, solar cell, and solar PV module manufacturing plant and for general corporate purposes.

Established in 1990, Waaree Energies is India's largest manufacturer of solar PV modules, with an installed capacity of 12 GW as of June 30, 2024.
