Tata Capital IPO Listing Date: Shares of non-banking financial company (NBFC) Tata Capital are ready to hit the stock exchanges on Monday, October 13. The ₹15,511.87 crore public offering was fully subscribed on the last day of bidding. The Tata Capital IPO allotment status was finalised on Thursday, October 9.

With the Tata Capital share listing just around the corner, here are the key things you should know.

Tata Capital IPO: Subscription details

The initial share sale got subscribed 1.95 times, as investors applied for 65.12 crore shares as against 33.34 shares on offer, as per the data on stock exchanges.

Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) emerged as the most aggressive bidders, as their portion was subscribed 3.42 times. They applied for 32,44,77,652 shares as compared to 9,49,24,856 shares on offer.

The non-institutional investors, or NIIs, category was booked 1.98 times, as they submitted applications for 14,10,67,142 shares against 7,11,93,642 shares on offer.

Retail individual investors (RIIs) placed bids for 18,21,78,400 shares compared to 16,61,18,498 shares reserved. This reflects a subscription of 1.10 times.

Tata Capital IPO: Objectives

The initial share sale aimed to raise ₹15,511.87 crore by offering 21 crore new shares valued at ₹6,846 crore and an offer for sale of ₹8,665.87 crore by Tata Sons and International Finance Corporation (IFC).

The money generated will be used to bolster the company's Tier-1 capital base for future capital requirements.

Tata Capital IPO: Share credit, refund and listing date

For investors who secured the Tata Capital IPO allotment, the shares will be credited to their Demat account on Friday, October 10. Refunds for unsuccessful investors will also be processed on the same day.

The Tata Capital IPO share listing on the NSE and the BSE (formerly the Bombay Stock Exchange) will occur on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 10 am.
