Shares of retail stockbroking and financial services firm Shah Investor's Home got listed with a premium of more than 2% from the IPO issue price of ₹167 on Tuesday, October 6.

The company's stock started trading at ₹171 per share, rising 2.40% from the issue price on the National Stock Exchange and the BSE.

Shah Investor's Home share price: Here's how much investors made per lot

A lot consists of 85 shares and costs ₹14,195. Investors who received the Shah Investor's Home IPO allotment made ₹340 per lot, taking the value of their investment to ₹14,535, as per the listing price on the NSE.

The IPO was subscribed 38.12 times, as it fetched bids for 14,40,60,040 shares versus 37,79,440 shares reserved, as per the NSE data.

The category for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) attracted 28.05 times subscription, while the quota for non-institutional investors (NIIs) was booked 95.54 times. The portion for retail investors was subscribed 19.25 times.

The ₹90.17 crore initial public offering, with a price band of ₹159 to ₹167 share, was only a fresh issuance of 53.99 lakh equity shares, with no offer for sale (OFS) component.

Money raised to the tune of ₹60 crore will be used for working capital needs and the rest for corporate general purposes.

"Our company expects to receive the benefits of listing of equity shares on the stock exchanges, including enhancing our company's visibility and brand image and creating a public market for our company's equity shares in India," the firm said in its red herring prospectus.
