Shadowfax Technologies IPO: The initial public offering of logistics services provider Shadowfax Technologies opened for subscription on Tuesday, January 20. The issue will conclude on Thursday, January 22.

The ₹1,907.27 crore book-build issue, with a price band of ₹118 to ₹124 per share, is a mix of fresh issuance of shares valued at ₹1,000 crore and an offer for sale (OFS) of shares aggregating to ₹907.27 crore.

Under the OFS, Flipkart Internet Pvt Ltd, International Finance Corporation, Eight Roads Investments Mauritius II, Qualcomm Asia Pacific, NewQuest Asia Fund IV (Singapore), Mirae Asset-Naver New Growth Fund I, Nokia Growth Partners IV, L.P. and Mirae Asset-GS Retail New Growth Fund I will sell their shares.

The fresh issue proceeds will be used for the following objectives:

  • Funding of capital expenditure for network infrastructure
  • Lease payments for new first-mile centres, last-mile centres and sort centres
  • Branding, marketing and communication costs
  • Unidentified inorganic acquisitions and general corporate purposes

The IPO has been booked 42% so far on the first day of subscription, with bids for 3,76,03,560 shares as against 8,90,88,807 shares on offer, according to the NSE data until 3:38 pm.

A lot consists of 120 shares and multiples thereof. The company has reserved 75% of the net offer for qualified institutional buyers, 15% for non-institutional investors and 10% for retail investors.

Before the IPO, the company raised ₹856.02 crore from anchor investors, including Nippon India Mutual Fund (MF), JM Financial MF, Motilal Oswal MF, ICICI Prudential MF, Government Pension Fund Global, Societe Generale, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company, Eastspring Investments, HSBC Global Investment Funds and Jupiter India Fund.

Shadowfax Technologies is a leading logistics service provider for e-commerce express parcel and value-added services, with a service network of 14,758 Indian pin codes as of September 2025.

It serves a wide range of enterprise clients, including non-horizontal and horizontal e-commerce, food marketplaces, quick commerce and on-demand mobility companies. It provides express forward parcel deliveries, reverse pickups and on-demand hyperlocal and critical logistics solutions.

According to investorgain.com and media reports, Shadowfax Technologies' unlisted shares are trading at ₹130, reflecting a grey market premium of 4.84% over the upper price band of ₹124.
