The initial public offering of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has been subscribed 1.70 times so far on the final day of bidding on Monday, September 21. It received bids for 15,09,94,664 shares against 8,86,42,911 shares on offer, according to data available with the BSE until 11:30 am.

The portion for non-institutional investors (NIIs) was subscribed 2.82 times and the category for retail investors got 94% subscription. The quota for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 2.21 times.

The ₹22,561.57 crore initial share sale comprises an offer for sale (OFS) of up to 12.64 crore shares by existing shareholders.

Since the issue is entirely an OFS, the proceeds from the offer will go to the existing shareholders and not to the NSE.

The exchange has set a price band of ₹1,700 to ₹1,785 per share, and a lot consists of 8 shares.

NSE IPO allotment status is likely to be finalised on Tuesday, September 22. The company's shares are expected to make their market debut on Thursday, September 24.
