LEAP India share price: Stock lists at over 4% premium on NSE; here's how much investors made per lot

Shares of supply chain asset pooling firm LEAP India Ltd started trading at ₹165.80 apiece on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). This reflects a premium of 4.34% over the IPO issue price of ₹159 per share.

LEAP India share price: Here's how much investors made per lot

A lot consisted of 94 shares and cost ₹14,946. Investors who received LEAP India IPO allotment made ₹639.2 per lot, taking the value of their investment to ₹15,585.2, as per the listing price on the NSE.

The ₹2,480 crore IPO was a mix of a fresh issuance of ₹480 crore and an offer for sale of ₹2,000 crore.

The issue proceeds will be used towards repayment of certain borrowings, while the remaining funds will be used to meet its working capital needs.

The issue secured bids for 96,32,60,770 shares vs 11,49,91,735 shares on offer, translating to 8.38 times, according to the NSE.

The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) quota received 16.84 times subscription, while the non-institutional investors category was subscribed 12.64 times. The portion for retail investors was booked 1.71 times.

Before the IPO, the company allotted 4.68 crore shares valued ₹743.62 crore to 32 anchor investors, including Smallcap World Fund, Norway's Government Pension Fund Global, Monetary Authority of Singapore, Morgan Stanley India Investment Fund, Amundi Funds New Silk Road, Citigroup Global Markets Mauritius, Goldman Sachs Investments (Mauritius), Societe Generale, Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund, JM Financial Mutual Fund, ITI Mutual Fund, Bank of India Mutual Fund, Axis Mutual Fund, Groww Mutual Fund, and Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance.

LEAP India Limited operates in the supply chain management sector, providing asset pooling solutions. Its services include equipment pooling, returnable packaging, transportation, inventory management and repair & maintenance across industries like e-commerce, automotive, FMCG, and consumer durables.
