E-commerce enablement platform Shiprocket's initial public offering has been subscribed 11.73 times so far on Friday, August 14, the final day of bidding.

The IPO got bids for 1,10,73,09,742 shares against 9,44,36,030 shares on offer, as per NSE data until 11:46 am.

The category for retail individual investors was booked 21.59 times, while the non-institutional investors (NIIs) quota drew 27.94 times subscription. The qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) portion was booked 7%.

The ₹1,617.48 crore issue is a combination of a fresh issuance of shares totalling ₹885.50 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) component of shares worth ₹731.98 crore.

Existing shareholders, including Tribe Capital, Moore Strategic Ventures, Lightrock, Gautam Kapoor, Saahil Goel, Vishesh Khurana and Agility International Investment, will offload shares through the OFS.

The company will use proceeds from the IPO to invest in marketing initiatives, boost technology infrastructure across its core and emerging businesses, prepay certain borrowings, and pursue potential acquisitions and corporate purposes.

Backed by Temasek and Zomato, Shiprocket Ltd has grown into a full-stack e-commerce enablement platform from just being a shipping service provider. It serves direct-to-consumer brands and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

It operates across two segments – Emerging Business and Core Business. The company's core business includes domestic shipping and shipping applications, while its emerging businesses consist of cargo and fulfilment, advertising and marketing solutions, cross-border shipping, capital solutions and hyperlocal deliveries.
