Amkay Products Ltd IPO share allotment status is expected to be finalised on Monday, May 6, after an encouraging response from bidders in the three-day subscription phase, which closed on May 3.
The BSE SME public issue opened for subscription on April 30.
Investors who have bid for Amkay Products IPO shares are eagerly waiting for the allotment, which can be checked through either of the two modes - BSE website or registrar portal. Bigshare Services Pvt Ltd has been appointed as the registrar to the IPO.
It is important to note that these portals - BSE and registrar - will show the allotment status of only those bidders who come out as successful applicants.
Once the allotment is done, Amkay Products will start refunds to non-allottees of shares on May 7 and credit shares to successful bidders on the same day.
Amkay Products is expected to list its IPO shares on the BSE SME platform on May 8, 2024.
Amkay Products IPO was subscribed by a staggering 693.44 times, receiving bids for more than 113.86 crore shares, against 16.42 lakh shares offered under the IPO, according to the BSE data.
The Non-institutional investors’ (NIIs) portion was booked 721.98 times while the retail investors’ segment was subscribed 973.13 times. Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) submitted bids 173 times of the shares reserved for them.
The SME public offer is a book-build issue of 22.92 lakh shares of a face value of ₹10 each. The IPO is entirely a fresh issue of worth ₹12.61 crore.
Amkay Products IPO price band was fixed at ₹52 to ₹55 per share with a minimum lot size of 2,000 shares. At this price band, the minimum amount of investment required by retail investors came to ₹1,10,000. For HNIs, the minimum lot size investment was 2 lots or 4,000 shares, amounting to ₹2,20,000.
