RITES Q1 results: Net profit jumps 8% YoY to ₹98 crore, revenue rises 9%; first interim dividend declared

RITES Q1 results: Engineering services company RITES reported its earnings for the April-June quarter of the 2026-27 financial year (Q1 FY27) on Tuesday, August 4.

The company reported a consolidated net profit of ₹97.78 crore during the quarter under review, marking a 7.6% year-on-year (YoY) increase from ₹90.89 crore in the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year (Q1 FY26).

Its revenue from operations jumped 8.7% YoY to ₹532.20 crore in the June quarter of FY27, compared with ₹489.70 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal year, according to a regulatory filing.

Segment-wise performance snapshot

It recorded revenue of ₹284 crore from the domestic consultancy segment for the reporting quarter, reflecting a 4.3% YoY jump from ₹272.31 crore in Q1 of FY26. However, its revenue from the consultancy segment abroad fell 10.21% YoY to ₹16 crore in Q1 FY27, from ₹17.82 crore in the year-ago period.
The turnkey construction projects segment clocked revenue of ₹176.40 crore for the reporting quarter, up 18.9% YoY from ₹148.40 crore in the June quarter of FY26.
Furthermore, its revenue from the domestic leasing segment stood at ₹48.73 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2026, reflecting a 14.4% YoY rise from ₹42.59 crore in the same period last year.
RITES’ power generation segment’s revenue rose 15.5% YoY to ₹6.04 crore from ₹5.23 crore.
Its revenue from export sales declined 70.6% YoY to ₹1.03 crore, in contrast to ₹3.50 crore in the first quarter of FY26.

Interim dividend declared; check record date

The company’s board of directors also declared its first interim dividend at the rate of ₹1.40 per share, at 14% of the paid-up share capital, for FY27.

Furthermore, it also fixed Monday, August 10, 2026, as the record date for the interim dividend. The dividend will be paid on or before September 2, 2026.
