On Wednesday, Hindustan Unilever Limited, an FMCG company, reported a 2.4% decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹2,591 crore for the September quarter of the current fiscal year 2024-25. A year ago, the post-tax profit stood at ₹2,656 crore.

Revenue from product sales grew 2.36% to ₹15,703 crore in Q2 FY25 from ₹15,340 crore in the same quarter year ago, HUL, which owns power brands such as Rin, Surf, Lux, Lifebuoy, Lakmé, Pond's, Brooke Bond, Horlicks, Boost and Lipton, said.
