Q2 results today: Diversified FMCG company

Bikaji Foods International, cement producer ACC, lubricant manufacturer Castrol India, pharmaceutical firm Glenmark Life Sciences and city gas distribution entity Mahanagar Gas among others will declare their financial results for the quarter ended September 2024 on Thursday.
FMCG company Godrej Consumer Products, Oracle Corp's subsidiary Oracle Financial Services Software, food processing company Patanjali Foods, beverage firm United Breweries, wire and cable manufacturer RR Kabel and home loan provider PNB Housing Finance will also release their latest July-September quarter results on October 24.

HUL Q2 profit falls
On Wednesday,
Hindustan Unilever Limited, an FMCG company, reported a 2.4% decline in its consolidated net profit to ₹2,591 crore for the September quarter of the current fiscal year 2024-25. A year ago, the post-tax profit stood at ₹2,656 crore.
Revenue from product sales grew 2.36% to ₹15,703 crore in Q2 FY25 from ₹15,340 crore in the same quarter year ago, HUL, which owns power brands such as Rin, Surf, Lux, Lifebuoy, Lakmé, Pond's, Brooke Bond, Horlicks, Boost and Lipton, said.
"In the September quarter, FMCG demand witnessed moderating growth in urban markets, while rural continued to recover gradually. In this context, we delivered a competitive and profitable performance," HUL CEO and Managing Director Rohit Jawa said.
