Q2 results season is on, and several companies will put out their earnings for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal year on Tuesday, October 28. They include two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company, renewable energy company Adani Green Energy, NBFC Tata Capital, steel producer Jindal Steel, grey cement maker Shree Cements, city gas distribution network Adani Total Gas, solar module manufacturer Premier Energies, financial services company Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services and general insurer Go Digit General Insurance.

On Monday, state-owned Indian Oil Corporation Ltd reported a multi-fold jump in its Q2 FY26 net profit on the back of higher refining margins and operational efficiencies.

Its consolidated profit after tax stood at ₹7,817.55 crore in the quarter under review, compared to a net loss of ₹169.58 crore in the same period of the last year.

It earned USD 19.6 on every barrel of crude oil it processed and turned into fuels like diesel and petrol in Q2 as against USD 2.15 gross refining margin in Q1 and USD 1.59 in Q2 last year.
