On Tuesday, design and technology services provider Tata Elxsi reported a 10% surge in net profit to ₹170.30 crore in Q2 FY27, aided by growth in key verticals. It had recorded a net profit of ₹154.82 crore in the year-ago period.

Its revenue from operations advanced 14.98% to ₹1,055.66 crore in the quarter under review against ₹918.10 crore in the second quarter of FY26.

Sequentially, the revenue surged 3.4%. However, its post-tax profit declined by 0.18%.

"We have delivered strong operational excellence and resilient growth across customers and industry verticals in a volatile macro environment," Tata Elxsi CEO and MD Manoj Raghavan said.

The Tata Group firm's transportation vertical expanded 2% quarter-on-quarter in constant currency terms, and it bagged a multi-year deal from a leading automotive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for a next-generation cloud-based telematics and connected vehicle ecosystem, Raghavan said.

"We look forward to sustaining growth in the second half of the financial year, even as we continue to invest in differentiated AI-first offerings and services and focus on continued operational excellence," he said.
