Q2 FY25 results today: The earnings season has started, and many companies will release their financial results for the second quarter of the financial year 2024-25 on Thursday, October 10. Information technology (IT) bellwether Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will be among the firms that will release their Q2 FY25 report card today.
System software company Tata Elxsi, state-run Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), real estate firm Arkade Developers and liquor maker GM Breweries, among others, will also declare their latest July-September quarter results.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh state minister Nara Lokesh on Wednesday said that TCS will set up an IT facility in the state to house 10,000 employees.

In a post on X, he said, "I'm happy to announce the development of an IT facility by the Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. in Vizag that will house 10,000 employees."

He added, "We are committed to offering best-in-class investment climate to corporates driven by our motto of 'speed of doing business'. This investment by TCS is an important milestone as we work to make AP as India's No. 1 state to do business."

Lokesh, who holds the state's Information Technology portfolio, had met Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran on Tuesday.
