Q1 FY25 results on July 11, 2024.

Q1 results today: The earning season has started, and many companies will release their results for the April-June quarter of the financial year 2024-25 on Thursday, July 11. These include information technology (IT) bellwether Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), digital cable TV and broadband services provider GTPL Hathway, and brokerage firm Anand Rathi Wealth, among others.
Other companies set to declare their Q1 FY25 results include NELCO, Acrow, Amal, AFIL, GD Trading Agencies, DRC Systems, GNA Axles, Marble City India, RO Jewels, PMC Fincorp, SM Auto Stamping, Stellant Securities, Sree Jayalakshmi Autospin and Vivid Mercantile.

According to analysts, TCS is expected to report an increase in revenue due to multiple deals. However, the net profit is projected to slide over 3% in the latest June quarter. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) margin might also contract by 130 points quarter-on-quarter to 24.7%.

TCS's net profit increased 12.6% quarter-on-quarter to ₹12,502 crore in Q4 FY24. Its consolidated revenue was up 1.5% quarter-on-quarter to ₹62,394 crore.

This week, major firms that will post their Q1 results include HCL Technologies, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) and Avenue Supermarts Limited (DMart).
