Q1 results today: Jio Financial, HDFC Life among companies to post earnings on July 15; check list

The earnings season will pick up pace this week, as around 418 listed companies are scheduled to post their results for the quarter ended June 2024. A slew of major entities are scheduled to declare their results today, July 15, including Jio Financial Services (JFS) and HDFC Life Insurance.
JFS is the financial services arm of Reliance Industries Ltd, the country's largest company in terms of market capitalisation. HDFC Life Insurance is an arm of the HDFC Bank, which is India's largest private lender.
Other major companies that are expected to post their results for the first quarter include HDFC Asset Management Company, Bank of Maharashtra, Angel One, Hatsun Agro Products, Udaipur Cement Works, Den Networks, and Ganesh Housing Corporation.
Meanwhile, stressed carrier SpiceJet informed the bourses that its board will be meeting on Monday, July 15, to consider and approve the release of the third and fourth quarter results of the financial 2023-24.

Notably, the earnings season commenced last week. IT bellwether Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) posted its results for the first quarter on Thursday, July 11. The company's net profit increased 8.7% year-on-year to ₹12,040 crore. The revenue from operations rose to ₹62,613 as against ₹59,381 crore in Q1 FY24.

On Friday, July 12, two of the widely tracked companies -- HCL Technologies and Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) -- posted their results for the quarter ended June 2024.

HCL Tech's consolidated net profit during the period jumped 20.4% year-on-year to ₹4,257 crore, whereas the revenue came in at ₹28,057 crore, up 6.6% as compared to the year-ago period. The IT major also declared a dividend of ₹12 per equity share.
IREDA posted a net profit of ₹383.69 crore for the June 2024 quarter, up 30% as against the year-ago period. The revenue from operations rose to ₹1,510.71 crore from ₹1,143.50 crore in the June 2023 quarter.
On Saturday, July 13, DMart-operator Avenue Supermarts posted a net profit of ₹774 crore in Q1, up 17.5% year-on-year. The company's revenue from operations increased 18.6% year-on-year to ₹14,069 crore.
