Q1 results season is underway and many key companies are set to announce their earnings for the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26 on Friday, July 25. They include diversified non-banking financial company (NBFC) Bajaj Finserv, state-run lender Bank of Baroda, global pharmaceutical firm Cipla, NBFC Shriram Finance, credit card issuer SBI Cards & Payment Services, high-precision components maker Schaeffler India, steel producer Steel Authority of India, and oil and gas company Petronet LNG.

On Thursday, NBFC major Bajaj Finance Ltd recorded a 20.13% uptick in its consolidated profit after tax to ₹4,699.61 crore in the April-June quarter of FY26, compared to ₹3,911.98 crore a year back.

Its net interest income (NII) rose 22% year-on-year (YoY) to ₹10,227 crore in Q1 of this fiscal year from ₹8,365 crore in the year-ago period.
