Gold prices slipped by ₹10 per 10 grams in major Indian cities in early trade on Monday, December 2, in line with global trends. The precious metal retreated from the early high of $2,653 an ounce in global markets following a firm US dollar and the US Fed’s cautious stance on rate cuts. Some wedding season demand, however, supported prices.

Spot gold declined by 1% to $2,627 an ounce in early Asian trade. The metal moved in a range from $2,623 an ounce to $2,653 an ounce in overnight trade.

In Delhi markets, 24K gold prices dropped by ₹10 to ₹78,140 per 10 grams and 22K gold by ₹10 to ₹71,640 per 10 grams. The 24K Gold had gained ₹660 to ₹78,150 per 10 grams in local markets on Saturday. The 22k gold jumped ₹610 to ₹71,640 per 10 grams.

Silver Price Today in India (December 2, 2024)

Silver prices declined by ₹100 to ₹91,400 per kg in major Indian cities in early trade on Monday. The white metal moved in line with global trends. Silver had spurted ₹2,100 per kg on Saturday after Israel and Lebanon accused each other of breaking the truce.

Spot Silver dropped 1.28% to $30.20 an ounce in global markets. The metal hit a high of $30.60 an ounce and a low of $30.13 an ounce in overnight trade.
