The Hyderabad-based company launched the indigenous counter-drone platform at the North Tech Symposium 2026 in Prayagraj.

The company said the modular system has been developed entirely in India under the Indigenous Design, Development and Manufacturing (IDDM) framework and is aimed at addressing threats from low-cost FPV (first-person view) drones and coordinated swarm attacks that have increasingly emerged in global conflict zones.

According to the company, the anti-drone platform combines both “soft kill” and “hard kill” capabilities, including RF jamming, GNSS jamming and spoofing, remotely controlled weapon stations integrated with 12.7 mm and 7.62 mm guns, air defence guns and kamikaze interceptors.

Zen Technologies said the system offers wideband frequency coverage from 70 MHz to 12 GHz, detection capability beyond 15 km and simultaneous tracking of more than 100 drones for swarm engagement.

The company added that the platform uses an indigenous radar with a range of up to 20 km capable of detecting small low radar cross-section drones at an early stage.

“At the core of the system is an intelligent Data Fusion & Command Centre, which integrates inputs from multiple sensors and applies advanced algorithms for precise threat classification, tracking, and response, it said.

Zen Technologies Chairman and Managing Director Ashok Atluri said that India’s military strikes in Pakistan, dubbed ‘Operation Sindoor’, in the aftermath of Pahalgam terror attack “exposed a hard truth” that nations that fail to adapt to drone warfare will remain vulnerable.

“While the world is focused on building drones, the real advantage will belong to those who can make them irrelevant,” Atluri said in a statement.

He said the launch reinforces the company’s focus on indigenous defence technologies and reducing import dependence while equipping armed forces with “future-ready capabilities”.

The company said the system can be deployed in three configurations — vehicle-mounted, man-portable and fixed stationary systems.

The vehicle-mounted variant is intended for convoy protection and mobile battlefield deployment, while the man-portable version is designed for soldiers engaged in patrol and counter-insurgency operations.

The fixed configuration is aimed at protecting critical infrastructure, military bases and high-value assets with round-the-clock surveillance and defence coverage, it added.
