SUMMARY

The past 5 years have seen Indian markets make consistent new highs. Market cap to GDP has expanded significantly and we have been one of the top-performing economies globally. Interestingly still, there has been a resilient and ever-increasing trend in DII purchases of the equity market. Investors have increasingly shifted their focus to small and mid-cap segments, where market capitalizations have nearly doubled, signaling a surge in interest.
